ClashWise is an AI-powered clash management platform for Autodesk Navisworks. It takes the clash results you have already found in Navisworks and turns them into a clear, prioritized, actionable coordination workload — with descriptive names, AI-recommended priorities and owners, live dashboards, a browser-based 3D viewer, and a round trip that writes agreed decisions back into your Navisworks model.
ClashWise does not detect clashes. Navisworks Clash Detective finds them; ClashWise names, organizes, analyzes, coordinates, and reports on them. You keep your existing detection workflow and add an intelligence and management layer on top.
The two halves of ClashWise
ClashWise is one product made of two connected parts:
- The Navisworks plugin — adds a ClashWiseAI ribbon tab inside Navisworks Manage. From there you enhance clash titles with local AI, group clashes, build search sets and clash tests, publish clash results to the cloud, chat with Wise (the ClashWise AI assistant), and sync analyzed results back into the model.
- The web app at https://clashwise.ai — where published clash sets live. Here you build and refine your clash matrix, run AI analysis, triage clashes in a powerful grid, review them in a 3D viewer, run live coordination sessions, share insights dashboards with stakeholders, and export reports.
Key capabilities
- AI clash naming (in Navisworks) — replace generic names like "Clash847" with descriptive, standards-based titles built from the real elements involved. Six naming standards, 11 output languages, generated by an AI model that runs locally on your own machine — private and offline-capable once set up.
- Publish, update, and sync clash sets — publish clash tests to the cloud as clash sets, re-publish to keep them current as the model evolves, and sync agreed statuses, priorities, assignees, comments, and groups back into Navisworks.
- Clash matrix and AI analysis — generate a rules matrix from your published clashes: every pairing of element classes gets a default priority, status, tolerance, and responsible contact. AI then applies your matrix across the whole set, stamping each clash with a recommended priority, status, and owner — turning a flat list of clashes into a triaged worklist.
- Web clash management — a full clash grid with permanent clash numbers (clash #N), search, AI smart filters, saved views, grouping, bulk edits, tags, due dates, and a complete edit history.
- 3D viewer — review published clashes in a composed 3D scene in your browser (up to 1,000 clashes at once), with color modes, measurement, sectioning, isolation, and per-clash AI explanations. Requires the set to be published with 3D capture enabled.
- Coordination sessions — run live clash-review meetings against a clash set. While a session is active, every status, priority, contact, and due-date change is recorded automatically, and AI generates the meeting minutes when you end the session.
- Insights and sharing — live dashboards per clash set (resolution rate, priority mix, discipline breakdowns, AI executive summary) that you can share with anyone through public, password-protected, or expiring links — no account needed to view.
- Reports and exports — Excel, CSV, and BCF exports, PDF clash reports, matrix Excel exports, and session minutes as PDF.
- Wise, your AI assistant — Wise is the AI persona across all of ClashWise. Chat with Wise in a dockable pane inside Navisworks or in the web 3D viewer: ask questions about your clashes, apply edits, and drive the scene or the model with plain-language commands.
