Signing up and activation
Why wasn't I asked for a password when I registered? That's by design. Registration only asks for your first name, last name, work email, and time zone. ClashWise then emails you a verification link — open the email and click Set your password to choose a password and finish setting up your account. This confirms you own the email address before the account goes live.
I didn't receive the "Set your password" email. Check your spam or junk folder, and ask your IT team whether email from clashwise.ai is being filtered. The link in the email is valid for 24 hours.
My activation link expired. If you see "Invalid or expired verification link," simply register again with the same email address to get a fresh link.
I was invited to an organization — how do I get in? If you already have a ClashWise account, you get access instantly. If not, a seat is reserved for you as Pending; you'll set your password through the same emailed link, and the invitation completes when you first sign in. Invitations expire after 7 days, so ask your admin to re-invite you if you missed the window.
Passwords and signing in
How do I reset my password?
- Go to https://clashwise.ai and select Login, then Forgot password?.
- Enter your email and select Send reset link.
- Open the email ("Password Reset Request") and follow the link to set a new password (8+ characters).
For security, the page always says a link has been sent whether or not the email matches an account, and reset links expire after a short time — request a new one if yours has lapsed. You'll get a "Password Changed Successfully" confirmation email afterwards.
Can I sign in with Google, Microsoft, or Autodesk on the web? No — the web app signs in with email and password only. The Navisworks plugin is different: it can sign you in silently with your Autodesk account if you purchased through the Autodesk App Store, and it remembers your email/password sign-in between sessions.
How does the plugin sign-in work? Use the same email and password as the web app. The plugin securely remembers your sign-in on your machine, so you won't retype it every time you open Navisworks.
Your account and organizations
Can I change my sign-in email address? Not from the Profile page. Contact support@clashwise.ai and we'll help.
How do I delete my account? There is no self-serve account deletion. Email support@clashwise.ai from your account's email address and request deletion.
Can I belong to more than one organization? Yes. If you've been invited into several organizations, use the organization switcher at the top of the navigation drawer to change which one you're working in. Clash sets, matrices, and other data are always scoped to the organization you currently have active — if things "disappear," check which organization is selected.
Where can I see what subscription I have? On your Profile: the ORGANIZATION SUBSCRIPTION card shows your organization's plan and status (for example "Trial — N days left" or the tier and seat usage). If you hold a personal subscription such as standalone Starter, it appears in the FEATURE SUBSCRIPTIONS table.
Why does my profile show an organization subscription but nothing under feature subscriptions? That's normal for team members: your access comes through your organization's plan, not a personal subscription, so there's no personal row to show.
What happens when the trial ends? Your organization becomes read-only — you can still view and export everything, but changes are disabled until an admin upgrades. See the Subscriptions and Billing article.
