Frequently asked questions
Which IFC formats are supported?
ClashWise supports IFC2x3, IFC4 and IFC4.3 ADD2 in the .ifc STEP format. IFCZIP, IFCXML and IFC JSON are not currently supported.
Is my IFC uploaded to ClashWise?
No. The source file is read and processed locally in the current browser session. Closing or refreshing the tab clears the session.
Do I need a ClashWise account?
No. The viewer is free to use without signing in.
Can I save the model or session?
No. This free workspace is intentionally temporary and local-only; it does not publish or persist models to ClashWise storage.
