Connect a compatible AI client or IDE to your published ClashWise data. Your organisation controls access; reading and editing have separate permissions, and controlled edits require a reviewed preview.
You need a ClashWise account, a participating organisation and the capabilities granted by its admin. MCP is part of the Clash Management cloud platform.
An organisation admin opens Organization → Connected AI → Manage, turns on Enable MCP connections, then selects Save MCP access. Access is off until an admin enables it.
Grant member capabilities
On MCP access, grant the member the capabilities they need, then save. Reading and editing are separate permissions; approving an app cannot give it more access than the member currently has.
Add the remote server in your client
Use an MCP client or IDE that supports remote Streamable HTTP servers and OAuth sign-in. Add the server URL shown on this page. The client opens a browser for ClashWise sign-in and approval.
Review the approval and try a read
Review the requested capabilities, select Approve and return to the client. Check its available tools, then ask it to list the clash sets you can access.
Choose the connection your client supports.
Use the client’s remote MCP connection when it supports HTTP and OAuth. Client menus vary; the endpoint and ClashWise approval steps stay the same.
Remote MCP client or IDE
Add a remote server, choose Streamable HTTP if asked, and enter the server URL above. Sign in in the browser window and approve the requested access.
A client that only supports an API key cannot complete this OAuth connection. Use a client with remote OAuth support or a compatible local bridge.
Optional local bridge
For a desktop client with local stdio servers and the mcpServers configuration format, the mcp-remote bridge can connect to the same endpoint. It requires Node.js and npx on your machine.
Merge this entry into the client’s MCP configuration, keep any existing servers, then restart or reload the client. The bridge opens the browser approval flow.
These capabilities cover the current customer tools. Existing clash-set and matrix access still applies, and the server checks current grants on every call.
Access settings also list View sessions and Manage sessions. A permission entry does not guarantee a matching tool is exposed: check the tool list returned to your client.
View clashes
Browse accessible clash sets, inspect clash details and comments, and request available viewpoint images. Image links are time-limited.
View matrices
Inspect your matrices, available options and rules.
Edit clashes
Prepare and confirm changes to a clash title, status, priority, due date or closed state.
Manage matrices
Preview and confirm rule changes on matrices you created. Matrices with AI edits disabled cannot be changed this way.
Manage notifications
Read your own notification feed, adjust personal notification preferences and mute sets. This does not change another member’s preferences.
Review the exact change before it is applied.
For controlled clash and matrix edits, the client first receives a before-and-after preview. It must explicitly confirm the reviewed change before ClashWise applies it. Without confirmation, that edit is not applied.

Keep access and activity visible.
Review or revoke connected apps
Connected apps shows each client and its granted access. Revoke a connection when it should stop working; use Delete to remove a revoked entry from the list.
Your organisation may have MCP disabled, or your member account may be missing a requested capability. Ask an organisation admin to check MCP access and save the required grants.
Why is a tool call denied after connecting?
Current permissions are checked again for every call. An admin may have disabled MCP or removed a capability, the connection may have been revoked, or the requested clash set or matrix may be outside your access.
Why is a revoked client still listed?
Revoked connections stay visible until you delete the entry. Approving that client again creates a fresh connection.
What if copying the URL does not work?
Select the URL or configuration text and copy it manually. Setup links and code remain available without JavaScript.
